What I’m Loving Wednesday | Calla Lillies

I thought it would be fun to pass along a few things that I’ve recently tried and loved or really enjoyed.  I’ll do a post once or twice a month called “What I’m Loving Wednesday”. I know other bloggers do something similar on certain days of the week, so this might be something familiar for you.

So what am I loving this Wednesday?

*Cold brew coffee!  I’m a coffee drinker, but sometimes drinking hot coffee on a hot summer day is not appealing. I have recently discovered and purchased “Stok Cold Brew Coffee”.  Needless to say that after one week I was hooked on this product! I have found that other brands have had a strange or bitter after taste. I’m not finding it with this product!  This is now my go to coffee beverage in the morning, poured over ice, with a little half and half.

* Calla Lillies! When buying flowers this spring, my eyes were drawn to calla lilies!  It could have been the cute metal buckets they were planted in, or the bright, vibrant color of them.  I’m not exactly sure. They also had the height that I was liking, which I thought would be perfect for my front steps.  I really don’t know why I’ve never bought this perennial before. They need lots of sun which is perfect for our home. Since having them, I thankfully kept them alive and have even enjoyed cutting some of the stems to bring the blooms inside.  I’m definitely hooked on this beautiful flower!

*A Book!  I bought this new book because I had read a few reviews on it and wanted to see what the hype was all about. Now I understand!  The book is called “Girl, Wash Your Face” by Rachel Hollis. I have texted many a friend about this book, encouraging them to go out and get it!  It’s for the single, the engaged, the married. I love that I can read a couple pages, put the book down, to later pick it up and resume right where I left off.  Rachel writes as though she’s sitting there having a conversation with you. This book is something I just can’t stop talking about!
