Lindsey and Will’s wedding day was the perfect blend of timeless elegance, heartfelt moments, and joyful celebration—all set against the charming backdrop of Louisville, Kentucky. From a bright and peaceful morning at Whitehall Gardens to a grand ceremony at the Cathedral of the Assumption, every detail reflected their deep love and intentional planning.
We began the day with sunshine and blue skies pouring through the windows of the Whitehall Gardens bridal suite. Lindsey and her bridesmaids spent the morning laughing, sipping coffee, and getting ready in cozy robes. One of the most touching details of the morning was Lindsey’s bouquet—her mother pinned a “something blue” brooch onto it, a piece of family jewelry full of sentiment and meaning. It was a quiet, beautiful moment between mother and daughter before the excitement of the day unfolded.
Lindsey shared a first look with her dad on the staircase inside Whitehall’s historic home, and his face absolutely lit up. It was one of those moments where you could feel the years of love and pride between them. We then stepped outside to the stately front portico for bridal portraits and family photos surrounded by the lush summer garden setting.
The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of the Assumption in downtown Louisville—a breathtaking space with soaring ceilings and stained-glass windows. As guests arrived, they were greeted with a custom wedding program designed like a vintage newspaper—filled with sweet stories, wedding day highlights, and personal touches from the couple. Lindsey’s father and mother walked her down the long aisle, and Will’s reaction as he saw her for the first time was priceless. The ceremony included traditional vows, a ring exchange, and their joyful first kiss as husband and wife.
Back at Whitehall Gardens, guests gathered under a large white tent for an enchanting garden reception. Lindsey’s father welcomed everyone with a speech full of warmth and memories—both from Lindsey’s childhood and from getting to know Will. Dinner was served at elegantly set tables, followed by a round of heartfelt and hilarious toasts from Lindsey’s brother, Will’s best man, and the maid of honor.
As the sun set, the couple cut their cake and poured a celebratory champagne tower to a round of cheers. Their first dance was dreamy under the twinkling lights, followed by parent dances, an anniversary dance, and a night full of dancing and laughter.
Every part of Lindsey and Will’s wedding felt personal, emotional, and deeply joyful. It was an absolute honor to capture this beautiful celebration for two wonderful people.
