A Heartfelt Summer Wedding at Hazelnut Farm | Auguste & Brooklyn

We had the absolute joy of capturing Auguste and Brooklyn’s beautiful summer wedding at Hazelnut Farm, just outside of Louisville, Kentucky. This day was filled with emotional moments, personal vows, joyful tears, and an unforgettable first dance—and we couldn’t be more honored to share a glimpse into their story.

The day began with sunshine and blue skies, but with rain in the forecast, Auguste and Brooklyn made the decision to move their ceremony indoors. As hair and makeup wrapped up, light rain began to fall, but inside the bridal suite, there was nothing but excitement and love.

We spent the morning with Brooklyn and her bridesmaids, laughing and capturing those sweet robe moments. One of our favorite parts of the morning was seeing Brooklyn’s mom help her into her gown—a moment made even more touching by her later speech, where she lovingly called Brooklyn her best friend. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Brooklyn then shared two special first looks: one with her bridesmaids and another with her father. Both were full of joy and love. Meanwhile, Auguste was with his groomsmen, getting ready and sharing a lighthearted first look moment of their own. Their laughter was infectious and the perfect contrast to the more emotional moments earlier in the day.

Guests were welcomed into the indoor ceremony space by the sounds of a live violinist. But before the formal procession began, the DJ surprised everyone by blasting a hype song as Auguste made his entrance—setting the tone for a ceremony that felt deeply personal and full of life.

Brooklyn walked down the aisle escorted by her father, and Auguste wiped away tears as he saw his bride for the first time. The ceremony was officiated by Auguste’s grandfather, who shared heartfelt stories from Auguste’s childhood and the couple’s relationship. They exchanged personal vows and wedding rings before sealing their promises with a joyful first kiss.

By the time the ceremony ended, the skies had cleared, and guests were able to enjoy an outdoor cocktail hour. As the sun set, the newlyweds were welcomed into their reception with cheers from friends and family.

The reception was full of heartfelt toasts, happy tears, and so many beautiful moments. But the highlight? Auguste and Brooklyn’s choreographed first dance. It was graceful, romantic, and full of emotion—like something out of a movie. Every step was a reflection of the love and connection they share.

The night continued with parent dances, a cake cutting, bouquet toss, a giant group photo, and a packed dance floor.
