Brigid & John’s Ault Park Wedding | A September Wedding in Cincinnati

There’s something special about a September wedding in Cincinnati. The days are still warm, the gardens are beautiful, and there’s a feeling that summer is slowly giving way to fall. For Brigid and John, their September wedding at Ault Park was filled with sunshine, meaningful moments, and the kind of joyful celebration that made their wedding day completely their own.

As a Cincinnati wedding videographer, these are the wedding days we love to document—not just the big moments, but the little pieces of the story that make the day uniquely theirs.

A Sunny Start at Ault Park

We arrived at Ault Park to a beautiful Cincinnati day. The morning was filled with anticipation as Brigid and John prepared to see each other for the first time later that afternoon.

Before the ceremony, we spent time capturing portraits with the bridesmaids and groomsmen. There was plenty of laughter and excitement as their closest friends gathered around them to celebrate what was about to happen.

Then it was time to head to one of the most beautiful spots at Ault Park—the Rose Garden.

A Meaningful Rose Garden Ceremony

Brigid and John chose not to see each other before the ceremony, saving their first look for the moment Brigid walked down the aisle.

Brigid’s father escorted her toward John, and when John saw his bride for the first time, he couldn’t hold back a few tears. It was one of those genuine moments that makes wedding filmmaking so meaningful. No posing, no direction—just the emotion of seeing the person you love walking toward you.

The ceremony was officiated by John’s dad, making an already meaningful ceremony even more personal.

Family and friends also played an important role. Brigid’s mom and one of their close friends shared warm words and beautiful poems with the couple and their guests.

Brigid and John exchanged personal vows and rings before receiving a blessing from John’s father.

And then came the moment everyone had been waiting for—the kiss.

Cheers erupted from their family and friends as Brigid and John officially began their life as husband and wife.

Celebrating at the Ault Park Pavilion

After the ceremony, guests gathered for cocktail hour while Brigid and John continued celebrating with the people closest to them.

The reception took place under a beautiful tent at the Ault Park Pavilion. The setting created an intimate atmosphere for an evening filled with dinner, heartfelt speeches, dancing, and celebration.

After dinner, Brigid’s dad, the best man, and Brigid’s sister each shared toasts. Their words brought plenty of laughter and emotion and gave everyone another glimpse into the people Brigid and John are and the relationships that mean so much to them.

A First Dance Under the Tent

Then the lights went down and Brigid and John took the floor for their first dance.

There’s something timeless about watching a newly married couple have their first dance surrounded by everyone they love. For a few moments, the rest of the reception seemed to fade away as they enjoyed the moment together.

Their first dance was followed by dances with their parents, creating another opportunity to slow down and take in the significance of the day.

Cake, Dancing & a Celebration to Remember

After the formalities, it was time to celebrate.

Brigid and John cut their wedding cake before opening up the dance floor to their family and friends. The rest of the evening was filled with music, laughter, and plenty of dancing under the tent.

From the first moments of the day to the final celebration, Brigid and John’s wedding was filled with the people, places, and moments that made their story uniquely theirs.
