A Beautiful Spring Wedding at The Monastery Event Center | Jake & Haley
In May, Jake and Haley were married at The Monastery Event Center in Cincinnati, Ohio—and what a beautiful day it was. From start to finish, their wedding was filled with genuine emotion, joyful laughter, and timeless elegance.
We began the day at The Renaissance Hotel, where Haley and her bridesmaids got ready in the sunshine-filled bridal suite. With music playing and mimosas in hand, the energy was joyful and relaxed. After hair and makeup were finished, we captured some of our favorite moments of the day—portraits of the bridesmaids laughing on the bed, sharing smiles and excitement. Haley’s mom helped her into her gown, and her bridal look was complete with dainty bow-accented heels that we couldn’t get enough of.
A sweet moment came just before the first look. Haley’s father walked into the room for a quiet reveal with his daughter—both of them lit up with joy, sharing a sweet moment before the day really began.
Next, we headed to St. Peter in Chains Cathedral, where Jake waited for his bride. Haley climbed the steps and greeted Jake for their private first look. What followed was a tearful, intimate exchange of personal vows that reminded us exactly why we love what we do—these are the moments that matter most.
We made a quick stop at Eden Park for formal portraits of the wedding party and family—classic Cincinnati views that added to the timeless aesthetic of the day. From there, it was on to the ceremony at The Monastery.
Set in the beautiful outdoor courtyard, the ceremony featured music from the Hawthorne String Quartet and heartfelt traditions. Haley’s father walked her down the aisle, and with the sun shining, Jake and Haley exchanged rings, vows, and a joyful first kiss as husband and wife.
Cocktail hour followed in the courtyard, with guests enjoying drinks, music, and conversation as golden hour approached. The reception inside The Monastery featured a stunning grand entrance and first dance. Speeches from Haley’s father, Jake’s brother, and Haley’s sister brought laughter and happy tears.
After dinner, the couple cut their elegant multi-tiered cake before sharing special dances—Haley with her dad, Jake with his mom—and a special anniversary dance for the grandparents, couples, and the newlyweds. Before long, everyone was on the dance floor, and a photo booth and late-night Skyline coneys made for a fun, uniquely Cincinnati end to a perfect evening.
