There’s something about an April wedding that feels like the perfect blend of fresh beginnings and joyful celebration—and Kendra and Clayton’s wedding day was all that and more. We had the joy of capturing every heartfelt moment at the stunning Manor House Event Center in Mason, Ohio, and their film is a true reflection of the love and laughter that filled the day.

We began our morning at Mitchell’s Salon and Day Spa, where Kendra and her bridesmaids enjoyed a relaxed and joyful start to the day. Hair, makeup, and a light lunch set the tone, followed by champagne toasts in the hotel bridal suite. One of the most touching moments came when Kendra’s mother helped her into her elegant gown and cathedral-length veil. Then came the emotional first looks—with her father, and then her bridesmaids—that brought big smiles all around.

Meanwhile, Clayton prepared for the big day and shared a quiet, meaningful moment with his mom as she pinned on his corsage.

One of our favorite moments to film was the first look between Kendra and Clayton. The anticipation, the emotion—it was beautiful. Their wedding party soon joined us for outdoor portraits surrounded by spring’s gentle bloom, a lovely setting for such a radiant group.

As guests began arriving for the ceremony, sunlight streamed through the glass windows of the Manor House atrium. A live string quartet played as Kendra walked down the aisle arm-in-arm with her father. The ceremony, led by a family pastor, was filled with personal vows, a heartfelt ring exchange, and a joyful first kiss.

Cocktail hour followed, and soon it was time for the grand reception entrance. Kendra and Clayton took the floor for their first dance, gliding through a romantic cloud dance that added such a dreamy, cinematic touch to their film. Kendra’s father gave a warm welcome and shared sweet, thoughtful words about his daughter and new son-in-law.

As the evening continued, heartfelt toasts from the maid of honor and best man gave guests a glimpse into the couple’s love story. The cake cutting was followed by a full dance floor and a fun wedding guest group photo. Once the foam light sticks came out, the party lit up and carried on late into the night.
