Getting Ready & Special Gifts
When we arrived, Emily and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the charming bridal suite, sharing laughter and excitement as they prepared for the big day. Meanwhile, outside, the ceremony space was set between a grove of trees, creating a naturally romantic backdrop. Inside, the reception space was adorned in elegant pinks and golds, setting the tone for a night of celebration.
Ben, the groom, shared a touching moment when he opened a special gift from his bride—cufflinks engraved with their beloved dog. These small but meaningful gestures set the stage for the deep love and connection they share.
First Looks & Private Vows
Once Emily was helped into her gown by her mother and stepmother, she had a first look with her bridesmaids, who couldn’t contain their excitement. She also shared a first look with her stepfather, a moment that beautifully captured the love between a stepfather and daughter.
For their first look as a couple, we traveled to the scenic Glenwood Gardens. This intimate moment, away from the crowd, allowed them to exchange private vows and soak in the significance of their commitment. Emotions ran high, and Ben couldn’t hold back his tears as he saw his bride for the first time.
A Ceremony Filled with Love & Meaning
Guests arrived to a stunning setup of white chairs as string musicians played garden classics, creating a serene atmosphere. The anticipation built as Emily’s stepfather drove her to the ceremony in a classic car. When she stepped out, Ben was overcome with emotion once again, and as her stepfather walked her down the aisle, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.
The ceremony, officiated by Ben’s father, was deeply personal. He delivered a heartfelt message about love and marriage, making the moment even more special. Ben & Emily exchanged vows, rings, and communion before sealing their marriage with a kiss. As they recessed down the aisle, surrounded by cheers and flower petals, Ben dipped Emily into a picture-perfect kiss—an iconic moment that beautifully symbolized their joy.
A Joyful Reception & Emotional Last Dance
At the Glendale Lyceum, Ben warmly welcomed everyone before leading a prayer. The evening was filled with touching speeches from Emily’s sister, Ben’s sister, and Ben’s brother, each sharing stories and well wishes for the couple.
After dinner, the newlyweds shared their first dance, followed by a mother-son dance and a father-daughter dance. The night continued with a cake cutting and a stunning champagne tower pour, adding a touch of elegance to the festivities.
As the celebration wound down, Ben & Emily shared one final, intimate moment—a private last dance. With the venue empty and the lights dimmed, they held each other close, soaking in the significance of the day and the beginning of their forever.
