Gallion Baptist Wedding
This sweet couple is coming up on their 1 year wedding anniversary. I was reminiscing and thought I would post some of my favorites from their wedding day.
The fun all started when Timmy, showed up at my door one winter afternoon with a question. “Can you help me surprise Sierra with proposal photography?” Two thumbs up and a big grin from me. Planning surprise proposal photography brings out my inner child. I get to be sneaky for a good cause. I created Sierra’s beautiful senior portrait collection last fall and I was so excited to be apart of this magical chapter of their story. We talked about the best way to surprise Sierra, and Timmy left with thoughts of his upcoming proposal.
I messaged Sierra, to see if she would help me “build my couple portfolio”. I photographed her senior collection the fall before, so my text was welcomed. She had to “ask” Timmy first, and he was nice enough to agree to help me (hee hee). Well, the proposal was a fun surprise. She said yes! And a few months later I was invited to plan their wedding photography.
We were all hoping that the late July wedding would be cool. Well, at least cool for our Alabama summer standards. Thankfully a cool front moved through a few days before and the temperatures were in the 90s. So much better than the possible 100s. The wedding had a southern charm and was filled with friends and family to help make the day perfect. The ceremony and reception took place surrounded by Alabama countryside at Gallion Baptist Church. Family and friends help decorate and create the vintage look Sierra had hoped for. I’m still smiling looking back at these wedding images. Happy anniversary Timmy and Sierra! I’m excited to watch your family grow.
