A Gorgeous Fall Morning at Rolling Meadows Ranch
When we arrived at Rolling Meadows Ranch on the wedding day, the scene was nothing short of spectacular. The morning was crisp and cool, the kind of fall day that makes you want to wrap yourself in a cozy blanket and take it all in. The fall leaves were gently swaying in the breeze, and the reception space was already decorated beautifully, awaiting the evening celebration.
We took a few aerial drone shots to capture the full beauty of the property, and you could truly feel the magic of fall in the air. It was the perfect setting for Hunter and Allie’s big day.
Getting Ready: A Moment of Calm Before the Big Day
After a warm welcome, we joined Allie and her bridesmaids as they wrapped up hair and makeup. The excitement was building, but there was still an air of calm as Allie soaked in the moments with her closest friends and family. Once she was ready, we headed outside for some getting-ready robe portraits. The crisp air, colorful leaves, and warm smiles made for perfect photo ops.
In the bridal suite, Allie’s mom, sister, and best friend helped her into her gown. Her sister carefully placed her earrings, and her best friend helped with her shoes. These moments of togetherness were so beautiful to witness.
Emotional First Looks: A Day Filled with Tears
The first look moments were some of the most emotional of the day. We began with Allie’s first look with the bridesmaids, and the moment was pure excitement—screams, happy tears, and so much love. It was an incredibly sweet moment as Allie’s girls saw her in her stunning gown for the first time.
Then, we tucked Allie away for her first look with her father. As her dad turned around and saw his daughter in her wedding dress, the tears started flowing. It was such a touching, emotional moment—there’s nothing like a father seeing his daughter on her wedding day.
Finally, it was time for the first look between Hunter and Allie. Hunter was visibly moved when he saw his bride for the first time that day. The two exchanged private vows by the pond, surrounded by the natural beauty of the property. Their vows were heartfelt and full of emotion, and, of course, there were more tears.
The Ceremony: Love in a Grove of Fall Color
As guests began to arrive for the ceremony, they were greeted by the vibrant fall colors that surrounded the outdoor ceremony site—a grove of trees that was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful moment. Hunter’s niece, the flower girl, threw petals down the aisle, while Allie’s father escorted her to her waiting groom.
The ceremony was officiated by Allie’s aunt, which made it even more special. As they exchanged rings, vows, and even a bourbon toast, the love between Hunter and Allie was palpable. When the couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife, the guests erupted into cheers.
