This Alabama wedding truly had it all–laughter and tears, rain and sunshine, quiet moments and fun dancing. Collins and Jessica’s wedding day was everything they could have imagined. As wedding videographers in Mobile, Alabama, we enjoy capturing all the emotions of the day. We love to incorporate the sounds with the imagery to bring out the emotion and take you back to the wedding day.
Collins and Jessica celebrated their wedding day at Kalioka Stables, in Mobile, Alabama. When we first spoke to Jessica, she was excited to have a wedding videographer so she could have a film to look back on the day. This is truly why we love our work. We have the privilege of giving an heirloom to families in video form that they can enjoy for years to come. Jessica was so excited about the first look and sharing letters together. We were thrilled that Kalioka Stables offered a bridal suite with amazing window light. During the getting ready time, we often turn off all the overhead lighting and bathe our brides in that beautiful natural light. The contrast of the dark wood from the barn and the window light was amazing. And the first look did not disappoint. The emotion of the groom and bride really brought this Mobile wedding video to the heart.
The scattered showers cleared out in time for portraits and the wedding ceremony. At 6 pm, it was time for the “Big I Do!”. Everyone was all smiles as the ring bearers pulled to the lake in a red wagon. As Jessica walked down the aisle, the sun was peaking through the clouds. She was glowing as her dad escorted her down the aisle.
After the ceremony, laughter was shared during family formal portraits. The last scene in this film is when we got to sneak in a little sunset newlywed time. We absolutely love the sky at dusk and the setting at Kalioka Stables was perfect. The DJ kept the party going into the evening. Jessica and Collins were introduced to their family and friends as Mr. & Mrs!!! The night continued with a sweet first dance with the newlyweds. Then, Jessica danced with her day and Collins with his mom. The kids took over the dance floor for the first set of open dancing. Then Jessica and Collins cut their cake and had fun smashing into each other’s faces. The dancing continued and Jessica did a bouquet toss and Collins the garter. The finale of the night was the sparkler send-off.
We were so excited to edit this wedding video in Mobile. We absolutely loved getting to know everyone at this wedding celebration. Jessica found us through another one of our wedding films and we were very excited that they knew we would be a good fit for their day. Jessica and Collins, thank you so much! We cannot wait to watch Noah grow.
