Mary Lemuel’s Maternity Session

I like to do my maternity sessions 30 to 36 weeks before the due date, but my last two sessions have been less than 7 days from baby’s arrival.  I am so glad these moms decided that it was important to capture these last moments with just mom and baby.  Mary Lemuel brought me to her family farm in Gallion, Alabama where she has worked hard all summer.  We went to the spot where she took engagement portraits with her husband a year ago.  Oh and did I mention her sisters that totally made this country session glamorous.  Mary Lemuel took my last true summer portrait session of the year and isn’t this natural sunset light amazing!  Cannot wait to meet baby York in a few weeks for his newborn session.

This beautiful landscape was inspired by one of her sisters with an elegant white chair from her home.
