Mountain Brook Wedding Video | Shaydah & Josh
Another wedding film is ready! The must-see moment from this film is during the sparkler send off with the groom holds is bride close and whispers, “I Love You.” Such a sweet and authentic moment.
Mountain Brook, Alabama Wedding
On Masters Sunday, I had the privilege of celebrating the beginning with an intimate wedding ceremony. Shaydah and Josh reached out to me earlier in the year about videography for their wedding day. We were so excited when we found out they would be calling us to handcraft a wedding video just for their wedding day in Mountain Brook, Alabama. The process of making a wedding film begins long before your wedding day. It starts with that initial inquiry and phone consultation. During this time, we learn a lot about each other and I start to form ideas of how to best tell your wedding story. Over the months, we continue to get to know each other through messaging and phone conversations. By the time the big day arrives, everyone is relaxed with my presence and we enjoy the day as creative guests at your wedding.
About the couple
One word truly describes Josh and Shaydah’s wedding day—authentic. From our first conversation, I could tell these two were hoping for a real wedding day. Nothing too posed or staged and filled with good food, good wine, and good people. Their wedding was truly a genuine celebration of their love for each other. Their day resonates with my soul so much. My motto is to do you on your wedding day.
Josh proposed to Shaydah on the beach. It was just the two of them spending time together. He asked and she said, Yes! These two are super comfortable around each other. I quickly discovered that Josh is the best at holding his bride. I asked them what their idea of a perfect date is and they said either tacos and movies at home or dinner and drinks on the town.
Wedding Day in Birmingham
The wedding day started at the home of Shaydah’s parents. The home quickly filled with all of Shaydah’s girls and family—always fun to have so many children enjoy the day’s events. Mom brought some homemade snacks and the kids brought smiles and giggles. After all the getting ready fun, the wedding party met at Vino in the English Village for portraits. Shaydah and Josh exchanged vows on the patio of Vino and continued their Jazz inspired reception at the Gallery Bar.
Thank you Shaydah and Josh for giving me a front row seat to your wedding day. It has been great to get to know y’all over the months. Cheers to the newlyweds!
