Izenstone Wedding Video | Spanish Fort, Alabama Wedding | Jaime & Brett

This Marine and his girl were married on Labor Day this year. They chose a beautiful wedding venue on Alabama’s Eastern Shore. Izenstone in Spanish Fort, Alabama, offered a perfect indoor space for all the day’s events and beautiful grounds for outdoor filming. We were very impressed by the hospitality at Izenstone and the great spaces for filming. The balcony off the bridal suite was fantastic for gathering all the bridesmaids together. And there was plenty of natural light in the suite for some gorgeous getting ready time. When it was time for the ceremony, the natural light flooding through the windows in the loft area creating a great look for the I Dos.

When we arrived, it was so great to finally meet Jaime. The excitement for the day was contagious. Jaime and Brett are truly our kind of people. They not only have a deep love for each other, but a love for all the guests celebrating with them. The sun was shining bright on this Labor Day and the summer heat was still in full force. We actually did most of the outdoor filming after the ceremony when the sun was a little lower and there was a slight breeze from Mobile Bay. Instead of seeing each other before the ceremony, the two spent some peaceful moments holding hands during a first touch. They shared prayers with each other and anxiously anticipated seeing each other at the aisle.

Brett and Jaime shared personal vows with each other during the ceremony. It was so nice to weave their promises and their faith throughout the beginning of this film. Brett vowed to Jaime, “to love you for the rest of my life. I promise to support you and encourage you to the best of my ability no matter what….But most of all I promise to keep God at the center of our relationship and to pursue Him with my whole heart so that I can be closer to Him and in return love you more and be a better husband the rest of our lives.”
“I love you.”
Jaime shared with her groom, “I promise to love who you are, but more than anything I promise to love who the Lord shapes you to be.”

Jaime and Brett met online through a dating app. Fairhope Pier & USS Alabama Battleship, were the locations of their first two dates. We asked Jaime to tell us their proposal story and she wrote, “Brett had a diamond from his grandmother placed in a ring sometime at the end of 2018. In January 2019 the ring came in and on our visit to meet his parents he proposed at his family church in Corfu, NY (near Buffalo). I had never seen snow and he proposed in fresh snowfall!” So so sweet. One-word that Jaime uses to describe their relationship is “comforting”. I also asked Jaime what they love about their relationship and she said, “I love that we both aim to work through everything that comes at us in life. It blows me away how even the most difficult of conversations can be met with grace and love. I genuinely believe that’s because we both strive to keep Christ at the center of our lives.”
One statement about the reception–Brett’s crew can dance. I’ve actually never seen a group successfully dance to Footloose, and these guys had it down. The dance floor was on fire all night. During the reception, Amanda, the Matron of Honor, echoed a sentiment shared by many, “Jaime, I am thrilled that you have found a man that seeks after the Lord, that loves you, that both encourages you and challenges you in your walk with Christ, and I’m so excited for you and your future together.”

Brett and Jaime,
We are overwhelmed with joy for you. Thank you for sharing your love with each other and your strength in God with us. Your vows helped us focus on the source of the happiness of our own marriage. As husband and wife, we stumble often, but in God’s love and faithfulness, we draw closer and closer to each other and Him. We pray the same strength and growth for you as newlyweds and in the years to come. May the challenges grow you closer to God so that you continue to fall deeper in love with each other.
