Montgomery Wedding at Oakfuskee Ryse // Michelle & Craig

I’m very excited to share photographs from Michelle and Craig’s wedding day last fall. Craig is a part of the music scene in Nashville, Tennessee. Michelle wanted to go back to a childhood home in Montgomery, Alabama for the wedding day. Oakfuskee Ryse Preserve was not really her family’s home, but her best friends always made it feel like home.

Oakfuskee Ryse Preserve is located in northeast Montgomery County and offers a beautiful country escape. The preserve not only hosts weddings and events but is also an active hunting preserve. This wedding venue offers breathtaking open spaces, rustic barns, romantic hideaways in the Spanish moss covered trees, and scenic ponds. There were so many places to photograph for the wedding day and a the property holds so much sentimental value to the bride.

Michelle and Craig’s wedding was a beautiful, autumn Saturday in October.  It was a joyful occasion full of happy tears and lots of laughter. Family and friends gathered to witness the exchange of the couple’s wedding vows.  There were many memorable events that made this wedding special. The wedding boasted a traditional feel with heirlooms from both Michelle and Craig’s families.
