Soggy Bottom Lodge Wedding // Tuscaloosa Photographer
My family and I have had a wonderful spring welcoming a new baby to the family. There is so much joy in our house right now. I’ve been thinking back to all of the wonderful brides I have worked with while I was pregnant. I wanted to share this intimate wedding with you from last fall.
Brooke and Daniel’s outdoor, October wedding and reception was held at Soggy Bottom Lodge in Linden, Alabama. It was a day of laughter, happiness, and immense joy. The couple chose the venue because of their desire to have an outdoor ceremony with both an autumn and rustic appeal.
The venue, Soggy Bottom Lodge, is becoming a great option for those in the Tuscaloosa and West Alabama area who are seeking a rustic outdoor wedding venue. There are so many beautiful photography options when choosing this location. The lodge boasts a lake and acre upon acres of fields and scenic forest locations. If you are looking for a rustic and scenic location, Soggy Bottom just might be the place for your wedding.
The day of the ceremony was absolutely beautiful and full of so much happiness and joy. The bride’s getting ready suite was in the original lodge at Soggy Bottom. The ceremony took place at the lake with the bride being escorted down the aisle by her nephew. It was truly a special moment for family and friends alike. The ceremony was made complete with an amazing sunset on the lake followed by the reception, complete with a live band.
I met Brooke while filming at Soggy Bottom the year before. It’s so neat how a little conversation can build into a wonderful connection. Brooke has spent time some time as a photographer and I was truly honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding. Thank you, Brooke and Daniel, for the wonderful memories. Much happiness to yall!!
