Birmingham, Alabama Wedding Videography

When we walked into the bridal suite of The Tutwiler Hotel, we could feel the excitement of the day. That feeling of anticipation and excitement continued through the first look. After the first look, there was a shift to “We’re Getting Married!”. There were happy tears from everyone on this truly special day. So fun to be with Courtney and Dylan and their tribe as they celebrated throughout the day.

The Wedding Day

Dylan and Courtney’s wedding day was like a best of for wedding days in Birmingham, Alabama. The day started at the Historic Tutwiler Hotel downtown. We took a fun antique trolley ride to the ceremony at Canterbury United Methodist Church. And of course, Canterbury does not disappoint with architectural beauty and a pure white background. We were also able to get some portrait time in the lush gardens of Canterbury’s courtyard. After the beautiful wedding ceremony, the party continued on the trolley to the reception space at the City Club Birmingham. After the first dances, we were able to sneak out onto the highrise balcony for some sunset time with the newlyweds. This day had the look of a big city and the hospitality that only Birmingham, AL can offer.

Dylan and Courtney chose to share personal letters and vows with each other after the first look. We love it when our couples incorporate personal moments on their wedding day. These amazing letters along with a first look where the groom tears up when he sees his bride for the first time truly helped tell the story of the love these two have for each other.
